IS THIS THE BEST ODE TO AN AIRPORT WE’VE EVER SEEN?

JUL 02, 2024 | by SAM HETHERINGTON

I don’t know about you but I love airports.

Sure they can be some of the most chaotic times of your life but it is also a place where 6am beers are acceptable and excitement brews like no other. Did I just fall in love with my soulmate or am I just at the airport? Db, our go-to luggage company show off the chaos they were built for in their latest summer campaign Summer Choas ‘24 featuring all of our favourites including Olav Stubberud, Beatrice Domond (2021 Monster Children Annual Cover Star), Luis Medearis and Juliette Lacome (2024 Bright Young Thing). And let me tell you, this is one of the most enjoyable odes to airports that we’ve ever seen (giving Love Actually’s closing scene a run for its money).

From cheating the bag weight with the old foot trick, chugging all your water before the security checks or the odd influencer doing their face mask in the middle of the book store, Db’s Summer Choas 24’ is a love letter to the intricacies of airports. A celebration of the very thing Db were made for. Our favourite thing to do. What’s more, Db gives us a closer look at how its luggage glides through the madness of the crowds, avoiding baggage-related malfunctions and troubles. Ever carried a surfboard bag through the airport? That shit is enough to not want to book a surf trip but with the custom wheels specifically designed to make hauling easier and fully compressible, rib-protected travel coffin, well it’s no wonder its effortless Juliette’s go to.

The signature Ramverk Pro gets the cameo it deserves, spotlighting its prominent features including its 360° wheels, telescopic trolley handle, and lightweight Polycarbonate shell. Db don’t miss, and while it doesn’t take much to get us excited to go travelling Summer Choas 24’ sure does remind us just how much we’d love an airport beer right about now, even if it costs us $44. Whether you’re a final call gate stroller or get there four hours early just in case- Db has your bags sorted.
