W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) has announced that their consumer garment rental program, Outerwear On Demand, will be expanding its collaboration with Seattle-based Evo – the outdoor retailer and experiences brand – for the 2022/23 ski season. Outerwear on Demand will now be available at Evo retail locations in Salt Lake City, UT, and Snoqualmie Pass, WA, in addition to existing locations in Denver, CO, and Whistler, BC. The expanded collaboration with Evo now enables consumers the ability to rent GORE-TEX Brand jackets and pants in some of the world’s most popular ski destinations, ensuring a great day on the mountain with versatile comfort across an array of activities and conditions. The rental program is ideal for those new to the GORE-TEX Brand’s fabrics, travelers looking to take the hassle out of packing, and convenience over ship-to rental options. Occasional skiers and snowboarders not yet ready to invest in their own gear will also find Outerwear on Demand to be an exemplary way to experience renowned technology from the GORE-TEX Brand. Not your average rental gear, the garments feature 2L and 3L Pro GORE-TEX Brand technology, body-mapped insulation, and a host of adjustment and user features, ensuring the highest level of comfort and protection on the mountain, in any condition. Consumers can reserve their rental online, try it on in-store to ensure a proper fit, and walk out with a garment setup that delivers maximum comfort, performance and style for a wide range of conditions. “The GORE-TEX Brand’s Outerwear on Demand program is the best choice for user convenience and performance, making it easier than ever to enjoy winter activities in legendary GORE Technology without having to own or transport multiple garments,” says Chris Brennan, Product Specialist, Fabrics Division, W.L. Gore & Associates. “We are very excited about evo’s success with Outerwear on Demand and the decision to expand the program. We are fortunate to have a partner such as evo, who is committed to helping more skiers and snowboarders have the best possible experience in the outdoors.” evo’s Salt Lake City, UT, and Snoqualmie, WA locations will now offer the full range of Outerwear On Demand products for those looking for reliability and top-notch technology from the GORE-TEX Brand. “We’re thrilled to expand our retail locations for Outerwear on Demand availability, a product that’s not focused specifically on a brand, but rather the unmatched technology,” says Matt Hupperts, Service, Rental and Demo Manager, evo. “Showcasing the GORE-TEX Product technology that so many other brands use is beneficial from multiple touchpoints, and opens up meaningful conversations with consumers about other products and brands which rely on legendary GORE-TEX Product technology.” Consumers will have multiple options to find their garment rental via the partner of their choice with online & in-store options and easy in-store pickup at any of the 12 convenient participating locations.
