Artilect First to Market with New Technologies for FW22

Published by Sports Insight on Nov. 18th, 2021

Since its introduction to the market just over a year ago, performance apparel brand ARTILECT continues to demonstrate how it is taking innovation seriously.

The brand has announced that it will be the first-to-market with several new technologies in its FW22 line, including ALLIED Feather & Down ExpeDRY a chemical-free technology that expedites water evaporation by fusing gold particles to down clusters; Trizar®, a Space Certified Technology that absorbs and distributes heat for improved thermoregulation, and several new game-changing offerings from YKK.

ARTILECT selects new technologies that meld performance with sustainability, and which support the brand’s unique systems-based approach (A/SYS) to technical apparel.  ARTILECT currently offers its A/SYS-1 baselayers and A/SYS-2 midlayers developed with Nuyarn merino spinning technology; A/SYS-3 through A/SYS-5 will be introduced to buyers from December 2021.

Artilect Recognized For Innovation

Published by Snow Industry News on Jan. 23rd, 2022

Just a year after its global launch, Artilect has won the software category at the Slide & OTS Winter Awards 2022. The brand is the culmination of years of industry experience from its founders from both sides of the Atlantic, Trent Bush and Corry Taylor. Both were determined not to add to the ‘sea of sameness’ currently available, but to launch a brand focusing on using future technologies to create pieces that work perfectly alone or to their absolute optimum in an apparel system.

Corry says, “It may have been deemed madness to launch a new brand when we did but by focussing on creating something truly unique, we are giving consumers the chance to experience the leaps in technology and innovation in their clothing that they enjoy in other aspects of their lives, from the cars they drive to the phone they carry. First to market opportunities from leading companies including NuYarn, YKK, Empel and Trizar demonstrate the faith these companies have in our vision. We have had an amazing reaction from the trade across all the key markets as well as heart-warming feedback from our early adopters. Winning the Software Award is great recognition that our FW22 collection is the one to aspire to.”

Equal parts art and intelligence, ARTILECT is a creative apparel studio backed by deep experience of the past, with a laser-focus on the future. It’s within the experiences of being alive where we find fulfillment.

Artilect Launches First Shop in Shop

By Keith Marshall on Outdoor Insight

Artilect, the apparel systems brand launched globally this winter, has opened its first shop in shop.  Based at The Epicentre in the heart of the Lake District, the inaugural collection includes base- and mid-layers powered by NuYarn merino which results in  5 x  faster drying, 35% more stretch, 35% more loft, 53% less air permeable, 50% more durable and 40% less raw materials needed.

Elliot Higgins, Head of Retail for The Epicentre, said: ‘We are thrilled to launch Artilect in store this season. It’s extremely refreshing to see a brand with innovation and sustainability together at the very top of its agenda. After putting Artilect base layers through their paces over the last few seasons we are delighted to present the range to our customers and are looking forward to a great future together with the brand. We have worked together with Artilect to create a progressive space for our customers to immerse themselves in all things Artilect. “

Adam Jowett, ARTILECT Sales Manager, added: “As a new brand, we have come a long way in a short space of time and having The Epicentre as not only a launch retail partner, but also now our first ever shop-in-shop partner, is something we feel both privileged and proud about! The new space perfectly reflects the look, feel and character of Artilect, and with new Outerwear innovations on the way for F22, it is the perfect place to showcase them.”
